Seeing as it’s the first anniversary of the closure of the Wii Shop Channel, I wanted to remind everyone to download everything they’ve bought while you still can!Īnd yes… I still have 250 Wii Points on there, gone completely to waste:D. It’s likely many of you already knew this. It’s all about going through the right menus and options. It turns out that the Wii Shop Channel is still working, one year after it was closed! How did I do it? To be honest, there was no real trick to it. I hope I was able to give people a chance at the time to get a hold of their DLC while they could. People are reporting it’s not loading for them, and I’m now experiencing the same less than two weeks after the video went up. UPDATE 5th Feb 2020: It looks like the channel has now gone down for good.
However, Guitar Hero’s store doesn’t appear to be working any more.
UPDATE 8th April 2020: After a momentary blip at the beginning of February (when I thought the channel had finally closed), it still appears to be going strong.
